I am happy to share great news from my patient 2 years post op, down 170 lbs! Thank you, Doctor! I’ll be back to Tijuana in January for skin removal surgeries! I’m a size 8 with the extra skin so I’m excited to see what I’ll be wearing when it’s gone! I ate mindfully in moderation for my entire journey and it was what worked best for me and my mental health. Maintenance is a fun phase! Getting my mental health and stress reduction right was the most important piece of my journey. Setting boundaries and learning who belonged in my life became necessary for these changes. Keep going. Loving Life!!! I have never been one to keep up with my weight. The day I applied for surgery I had to put new batteries in my scale because it had been so long since I had used it. That day I weighed 248 which is a lot for my 5’2” frame. I know I’ve weighed more in other years but couldn’t tell you the numbers because I honestly didn’t want to know! Here I am 1 year and 2 months post op weighing in at 145 (103 lbs down) and having so much fun with my wardrobe!!! Wearing 2 piece swim suits that show my entire leg length but still can’t get past how I look in shorts (somebody tell me how that makes sense 🤷🏻‍♀️).
